San Juan Bautista

San Juan Bautista is a unique historic mission town, situated inland from Monterey Bay on the San Andreas Fault. Tourists visit for international cuisine, art and antiques sold in historical buildings that line Third Street  on route to the Pinnacles National Monument or the Monterey Marine Sanctuary. San Juan Bautista, the Fifteenth Mission was founded June 24, 1797 by Father Fermin Lasuen and is located on 2nd and Mariposa Streets, San Juan Bautista, California.
